This site hosts information on the Atlanta region's Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP allocates federal funds for use in construction of the highest-priority transportation projects in the near term of the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The TIP must be consistent with the long-range objectives of the RTP and must be financially balanced.
For those that want to dive deep into the data and discover funding trends over years or how buckets of money get spent for different project types, check out the Pivot Table under the Explore tab. The tool lets you slice, dice, and even export your results.
Check out the data folder on GitHub. For older versions of the data, navigate to a different branch (e.g., 2nd Quarter of 2009).
If you're a local sponsor and would like to comment on a project or need to propose a change, please visit the Plan-It wiki to learn more about this process.
If you're looking for more information on TIP projects, please check out any of the options under the Explore tab.
